Byron Lomow 1990-91 Kalamazoo Wings IHL Ice Sheen szXL #25. Medium game use, Byron only played 7 games with the 'Zoo, but there is some evidence of a nameplate change. Sewn on numbers and logo, name is ironed on an icesheen plate, then haphazardly sewn on to the sweater. Worst stitching that I have ever seen. Stitching has ripped on both top corners and in the middle. Fight strap has been torn out of the sweater, scarring remains. ACQ: Byron's Hockeyland. 5/00

Thompson 1988-89 Binghamton Whalers AHL, Road Green, Jay Vee mesh, sz. XL, #18.  Green jersey, everything is sewn on (white on blue tackle twill).  Thompson is sewn on a nameplate, which is sewn on the jersey.  “Pucky” sewn on left shoulder, and embroidered in red and blue, on a white piece of twill sewn on a piece of blue twill.  Jersey shows good overall usage, with major blue staining of the white trim at the bottom of body and sleeves.  Two unrepaired holes are found in the stomach area.  The sleeves are both completely two layers of material.  The sleeves show many hack marks, but no holes or repairs.  The left sleeve may have three bleach stains.  The B logo on the front shows good general grime, as well as a few good blood stains.  Jay Vee embroidered on the back hem, and old-style fight strap sewn in back.  The strap was sewn in after the numbers were put on.

Saumier 1989-90 Binghamton Whalers AHL, Home White, HiLi IceSheen sz. L, #19.  White shiny jersey with green on blue letters and numbers.  Pucky “10th” patches sewn on shoulders.  Logo and number appear to be washed more than the name and Pucky patches.  Logo is pulling away from jersey at top of Whale fin, as well as top of “B”.  Back “9” has been torn away at top for 1.5 inches, and top of bottom for 2”.  1 has been torn away at right of bottom.  Sleeves have been cut considerably shorter, as none of the middle green stripe remains.  There are two holes around the collar at the top, each from the trim continuing about Ύ inch in.  Many stick marks are riddled throughout the rest of the jersey.  There are two holes in the lower left front area.  There is a hole in the blue stripe, with a red paint transfer just below.  The HiLi IceSheen patch is sewn on the rear hem.  A three snap fight strap is sewn in the jersey, with a small piece of Velcro inside.

Dan Goneau Binghamton Rangers AHL Home White #30 Bauer ProWear AirKnit Gerry Cosby sz 54 (fits like 56-58).  All letters/numbers sewn directly on jersey; blue sewn on drop shadow red outline.  Stripes are all sublimated into the material (different from NYR jerseys from the period).  Shows overall grime in areas like sleeves, stomach, and rear hem.  There is pilling and some stains where a C or A may have been on the left chest area.  Left sleeve has two unrepaired holes, and great paint transferring near the #30.  Right sleeve has one hole, and stains of various colors. Front has pilling/small holes in the stomach area.  Lower back/hem area shows great paint transfers, three or four unrepaired holes, and several board burns.  Bauer and logo is embroidered directly into hem, with AHL logo embroidered on a patch which is sewn onto the hem.  ACQ: eBay 11/05

Dan Woodley (NOBR) Fredericton Canadiens AHL Road Red CCM Ultrafil sz approximately 54 (tag ripped out).  There is evidence of at least two nameplate having been attached to this jersey. Three color crest is sewn on, with red sewn on white, swen on blue.  The blue layer is sewn onto the jersey.  The numbers are white sewn on blue.  “90-91” is written in red on the Maska tag, and has begin to run.  The right sleeve has a two inch slice near the end, and at least four team repairs.  There is at least one repair in each color.  There are a couple of other slices, but they do not go all the way through the material.  There is some filth, but it is not an excessive amount.  The stitching on the seam has been torn out for about two inches just off the armpit.  The left sleeve has five repairs, and at least that many unrepaired holes.  The front shows a long stain near the collar, going straight down.   There are also multiple hook marks near the stomach area, as well as two small repairs.  There is some pilling in the left side area.  The fight strap shows heavy pilling, and excellent corrosion on the metal snaps.  The Velcro has been stained pick due to washing.  CCM is embroidered directly into the right hem, in the all-white with blue letters sequence.  ACQ: Trade, 11/00

Brad Norton 1999-2000 Hamilton Bulldogs AHL Home White Bauer Knit, sz 56, #6.  White jersey with Edmonton Oilers blue and copper colors, as well as Montreal Canadiens red.  Numbers are sewn on- blue on white on red, name is sewn on dark blue on a nameplate sewn on the jersey.  Fully embroidered Bulldogs logo on the front, with the hint of red for the Canadiens.  Two fully embroidered secondary logo patches on shoulders.  Bauer embroidered on left chest, with Dodge patch sewn on right.  Collar shows excellent fight abuse, stitching is almost completely torn out.  Front stitching has been torn half way up.  Left sleeve has two repairs, and on open hole.  Both sleeves are riddled with stick marks, and have a large amount of filth at the end.  Bauer is embroidered on the rear hem, with the AHL patch sewn on next to it.  Lower case “ahl” sewn on back collar.

Kentucky Thoroughblades AHL road teal Bauer heavy knit sz 56 #4, NNOB/NOBR?  No real evidence of a nameplate.  Very light wear, one small board burn on the left sleeve, two small stick marks on the right sleeve (one on with stripe, one on grey).  The chest area has two distinct pills to the right and above the logo, as well as a burn.  There appears to be some type of residue in a rectangular shape under the embroidered shoulder patches.  Older style of Bauer size tag has been cut out, and the newer one is sewn into the collar.  The ahl (lowercase) patch is on the outside of the jersey opposite the tag, along with BAUER embroidered directly in the hem, next to the sewn on AHL logo patch.  Numbers are full tackle twill, with white on black colors.  Team ABC sponsor patch is sewn on the front.  Acq: eBay, 1/06

Stu Kulak NNOB  Moncton Hawks AHL 1988?? #14 CCM AK Blue sz?? (54).  Blue jersey with white sleeves, and red trim.  Sewn on, embroidered logo.  Numbers sewn on, red on white on back, blue on red on sleeves.  Good interior pilling on both sleeves, also on the outside of the left shoulder/neck area.  Some stick marks around stomach area.  White on sleeves is double layered, likely reducing the number of holes.  Left sleeve has five holes in the white area, as well as some snagging in both white and blue.    There are several stick and board marks on both sleeves.  Right sleeve has two unrepaired holes, and some nice board burns.  There is a nice stick mark on the right armpit area.  There are some holes and snags in the nameplate area, but they do not line up where a single nameplate would have been.  It is either wear, evidence of multiple nameplates, or a combination of the two.  ACQ:  eBay, 8/04

Lance Ward 1998-99 Beast of New Haven AHL Bauer AK sz58 #23. Partially embroidered (darker grey, red, and claws and eyes) and twill crest sewn onto the front of the jersey, two embroidered (bones) and twill (B) patches sewn on the shoulders.  Name and shoulder numbers are neon yellow twill, and sewn directly onto the blue trim (name on sewn on nameplate), while the back numbers are neon yellow on dark blue.  Collar area is stretched, the Bauer size tag has been ripped off on the right side except for the bottom stitch.  Right sleeve has team repairs starting right near the collar, with four, reinforced with a single 2.5” oval shaped piece of twill.  An abrasion goes through the neon piping right below this.  There are at least five more repairs closer to the end of the sleeve, all reinforced with twill on the inside.  There are numerous board burns throughout the sleeve, as well as a few unrepaired holes.  The other sleeve shows similar use, but no repaired holes.  The front has two major stick marks, and the back may have three.  The hard part of the Velcro has been torn from the strap.  The snap has a white top, which shows some scratching.  BAUER and logo embroidered directly into the hem, and AHL logo is sewn on next to it.  ACQ: Trade, 4/00

Mark Laforest 1993-94 P.E.I. Senators AHL UF sx 56, #31 NOBR. Nice example of one of the all time most popular minor league goalies. Sadly, the NOB was removed by the team, before the jerseys were acquired by Milt Byron. There really isn't too much visible damage (black pucks don't do too much to a black jersey), but it has been washed a lot, that's apparent by the Velcro in the fight strap stained black. Then tags in the neck also show a lot of wear. A few team repairs show on the sleeves, and some stains show on the jersey itself. ACQ: Byron's, 11/99

John Gibson 1983-84 Sherbrooke Jets AHL Home White Sandow Sporting Knit/ CCM Mesh home white no size tag- approx 52.  Red back numbers sewn on top of blue twill, each layer is sewn into the jersey.  Sleeve numbers are white on red twill, again with both sewn directly onto the jersey.  Name is ironed on to a mesh nameplate with a greater density of holes, which is sewn onto the back of the jersey.  Front crest is blue with red and white embroidery, and is sewn on.  Both sleeves show decent use, but no holes.  There are some stick marks, board burns, and blood stains on both sleeves.  There is a large amount of grime/ bleached blood at the end of the sleeves.  The front of the collar has been completely torn apart.  There is a large red paint transfer on the front right shoulder area, as well as several large areas of bleached out blood.  There are four large stick hack marks on the right side under the crest.  There is a blood stain inside the lower portion of the “S” on the nameplate, which has been torn off for about three inches on the top left corner.  There are several other areas of blood scattered throughout. There is a huge, dolphin shaped repair circling the fight strap and continuing six inches to the left (past the “2”), which does contact the bottom blue layer of the “2”.  The old style, two ribbon tie down pre-Velcro fight strap has been sewn back in after being torn in three pieces.  CCM has been screened on the rear hem, in a red, red, blue sequence. ACQ: eBay 11/05

Jeff Christian 1990-91 Utica Devils CCM Ultrafil White Home #9 sz 52-54 (tag missing) NJ Devil embroidered logo patches on each shoulder.  Numbers and letters are fully sewn on (Red on Green), with name sewn on a white nameplate sewn on the jersey (looks like it’s bursting at the seams with fray).  Fully sewn logo- red on green on white.  This jersey is simply hammered.  Starting at the top, the collar stitching has been completely torn out on much of the right side.  The front has been completely torn. The seam has been torn three inches to the right, and sewn back together.   There are threads, pills, and loose ends everywhere.  The sleeve is filthy with countless stick marks, board burns, and paint transfers.  There is a large repair in the white and grees, which is about a total of 2.5 inches long and 1.5 inches wide.  It is interrupted with a Ύ inch slice right on the white/green boundry.  There are at least seven other repairs.  Severe pilling is found on the inside.   The left arm shows similar wear, with an unrepaired slice next to the 9, and the mark continues through, right to the other side.  There is a large red paint transfer, and a large white repair.  There are at least four other repairs, and several holes remaining.  The front has at least six small repairs, and is covered with all types of filth.  The back is covered with grime, and has at least one repair near the fight strap.  There is terrible pilling on the inside of the jersey near the strap, which spreads down to the bottom and outside below the hem.  The nameplate is a victim of severe fraying, and has been ripped off above the “A”.  There is clear evidence of a nameplate change, from a much smaller name (goes from mid-H to mid-A), and very high a possibility of one slightly longer than that (end of H to beginning of A).  CCM in familiar Green, Green, Red (white letters) of the Devils.  White Custom Crafted screen on left side. ACQ: Trade 10/00
